I was receiving a large number of E-mails from some parents to tell 'em a way to block certain websites on their PC, because they were in a doubt that their children are misusing Internet.
So today I'm gonna tell you a way to block certain websites on your PC without any software.
Actually it's too simple, just follow these steps to block any website on your PC.
STEPS:
1- Click on START button, and click on RUN.
2- Paste this in the box notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
3- A page will open like this.
4- In the last put the links of websites you wanna block.
Example:
127.0.0.1 www.wannahackit.blogspot.com.
like this.
5- Save and close it, work done!
6- Children are Saved..!! :)
Note:
The good thing with it is that, anyone who opens those sites will see no message, no pop ups nothing will be displayed. Your browser will just fail to open those websites without any error messages!!
